Located just a short 5-minute walk from Clean Fuels Conference Central, the historic Ashton Depot served as a bustling train station for nearly a century from 1899 - 1995. Today, the neoclassical terminal has been beautifully restored and now serves as a full-service event venue and the perfect site to host our Clean Fuels Vehicle Showcase and Happy Hour.

Venu leads Engine Product Strategy and Power Solutions planning for John Deere. Responsibilities include assessing sustainability technology options, their readiness and developing implementation strategies into Deere products. Venu has over 22 years of experience working with medium and heavy-duty diesel engines for on/off-highway applications. He worked in various roles through his career in Engineering, Program Management and Product Management. In his last role as a Director of Product Management, he led the development of decarbonization solutions for heavy haul rail applications. Venu is a graduate of University of Akron with an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Lori Dunn

Lori is the COO of Optimus Technologies which decarbonizes heavy-duty fleets. As a recognized leader in climatetech sales and growth, she has worked with established companies and franchises to manage and reduce electric costs with smart energy platforms and demand response. She is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and winner of a Factor8 award in Sales Leadership. She holds a BA from California State University – Fullerton and an M.A. in Sustainability & M.A. in Conflict from the Heller School at Brandeis University. Lori has a passion for developing and mentoring up-and-coming talent and hiking with her dog.

Adam Buttgenbach

Director of Fleet Engineering and Sustainability
PepsiCo

Adam Buttgenbach is the Director of Fleet Engineering and Sustainability at PepsiCo. He leads the team in designing equipment that improves safety, reliability, and sustainability performance across the PepsiCo fleet. As one of the largest private fleets in North America, the team has led scaled deployments of electric and alternative fuel-powered vehicles to decarbonize its operations. As part of its pep+ initiatives, PepsiCo announced a goal to achieve net-zero emissions across its value chain by 2040.

Prior to PepsiCo, Adam spent time in agriculture transportation, the utility industry, and armored logistics. His experience includes specialized over-dimensional freight, custom equipment designs, and 3PL management. Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in Ag Business from the California Polytechnic State University and a master’s in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jennifer Weaver serves as the OEM Market Development Manager for Clean Fuels Alliance America. In this capacity, Jennifer has worked for the past 21 years as a liaison between the biodiesel and renewable diesel industry and the major auto, engine, and equipment manufacturers.  Her core responsibilities include educating those companies – as well as their suppliers, dealers, fleets, and other customers – on key technical advances in biodiesel and renewable diesel and guiding their efforts to support and promote the use of these clean fuels in their diesel engines and future diesel vehicle programs.

Jennifer has nearly 30 years’ experience in managing a wide variety of Public Relations, Marketing, Technical Education and Training Programs for various clients in the Automotive and Alternative Fuels industries among others.  She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing as well as an MBA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
