Heather Buechter

Heather serves as Director of Communications for Clean Fuels Alliance America, responsible for supporting efforts to continue to grow the biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel industry and share our vision, leading efforts to craft and share messages on the industry’s plans to move from 3 to 6 billion gallons by 2030, as well as promoting Clean Fuels Alliance America and the members it serves.

Before joining Clean Fuels Alliance America, Heather was the Director of Communications for the Missouri Catholic Conference. After earning a B.A. in Communication from the University of Arkansas, she spent 12 years as a broadcast journalist. Heather, an Arkansas native, brings extensive experience crafting stories that invoke change, building community relationships and adapting to changing demands.

David Frohberg

Chief Engineer, Natural Gas and Alternative Fuels
Caterpillar

David Frohberg is a Chief Engineer at Caterpillar, Inc. with current responsibility for natural gas and alternative fuels in the Large Engine Systems Division.  

Dave has a BS in Agricultural Engineering from Kansas State University and an Executive Certificate MBA from Purdue University. He has over 37 years of experience in engine development at Caterpillar utilizing various fuels in numerous large engine applications like electric power, mining, construction, oil and gas, marine, locomotive and other industrial applications.   

Dave is located in Lafayette, Indiana where Caterpillar produces the 3500, C175, and 3600 engine platforms.

Josh Garetson

Dir. of Renewable Fuels & Corporate Strategy
John Deere

Josh Garetson is Director of Renewable Fuels & Corporate Strategy at John Deere, where he leads the enterprise vision for renewable fuels and has responsibility for supporting the company’s global strategy.

With more than 23 years at John Deere, he previously served as Lead for Ag & Turf Corporate Development, supporting key business growth priorities. His career includes experience in finance, manufacturing, and corporate development, including leadership roles in investor relations, Hagie Manufacturing, Reman operations, and strategic planning for Seeding & Tillage.

Josh holds degrees in Finance, Agricultural Business, and Economics from Iowa State University and an EMBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Sara Graf

Vice President, Sustainability, Culture & Communications
Estes Express Lines

As Estes’ Vice President of Sustainability, Culture, and Communications, Sara Graf is responsible for brand, marketing, internal and external communications, public relations, reputation management, creative services, sustainability, and corporate philanthropy. Collaborating with the company’s primary business areas, she helps lead, inspire, develop, and implement strategies and programs that advance Estes’ sustainability goals, strengthen its culture, and elevate its brand and reputation.

In the sustainability realm, Sara spearheaded Estes’ inaugural carbon footprint reporting and annual sustainability report. She also played a pivotal role in establishing standardized shipment-level emissions reporting in the U.S. LTL industry through a partnership with SMC³ and currently serves as advisory board chair for the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute Dock2Door coalition.

Sara also oversees the company’s crisis communications, investor communications, recruitment marketing, employee and customer listening programs, and corporate chaplain program. She reports directly to President and Chief Operating Officer Webb Estes and works closely with him on a variety of strategic initiatives and special projects.

Through Sara’s leadership and vision, Estes has transformed the ways it stays connected to its teammates in the digital age, including key employee engagement initiatives such as a mobile communication app and intranet, companywide digital signage displays, podcasts, and a revamped careers website. Her work has helped grow the company’s family-inspired culture, celebrate its employees, reinforce the importance of great work, lead Estes through pivotal change, and strengthen the employer brand and reputation.

Before joining Estes in 2016, Sara held communications and marketing positions in the health care, real estate, and engineering/construction industries. Sara is a graduate of California State University, Fresno, where she majored in English with a concentration in Communications.

Rodger Williams

With over 20 years of experience in managing and developing retail and commercial fueling products across North America, Asia, Africa, China, Europe, and the Middle East, Rodger is the visionary leader of Immixt, LLC.

Before co-founding Immixt, Rodger held various executive positions in Oil & Energy companies, where he gained invaluable insights into the industry. He is also a prolific inventor, with 25 U.S. patents to his name spanning Point of Sale, payment, mobile payment, hydraulics, metering, and sustainability technologies. With his extensive experience and innovative mindset, Rodger is dedicated to driving Immixt’s growth and success in the fueling technology sector.

Tom Swenson

Director of Global Regulatory Affairs
Cummins Inc

Tom began his career in 1988 with the California Energy Commission working with alternative fuels.  In 1993, he joined the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management working to reduce emissions from mobile sources, including the development of heavy-duty incentive programs.

Tom joined Cummins in 2003.  In his current role as Director, Global Regulatory Affairs, Tom works with regulatory agencies, business partners and industry partners to implement Cummins’ Destination Zero effort.

Tom is based in Sacramento, California, holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Sacramento State and a California Professional Engineering license.

Jennifer Weaver

President & Chief Marketing Officer
JenMotion Marketing

Jennifer Weaver is the President & Chief Marketing Officer of JenMotion Marketing, and also serves as the OEM Market Development Manager for Clean Fuels Alliance America – the U.S. trade association for the biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel industry. 

Jennifer has worked for the past 23 years as a liaison between the clean fuels industry and the major auto, engine, and equipment manufacturers.  Her core responsibilities include educating those companies – as well as their suppliers, dealers, fleets and other customers – on key technical advances in biodiesel and renewable diesel and guiding their efforts to support and promote the use of these clean fuels in their diesel engines and future diesel vehicle programs. 

Jennifer has over 30 years’ experience in managing a wide variety of Strategic Marketing, Public Relations, Technical Education and Training Programs for various clients in the Automotive and Alternative Fuels industries among others.  

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing as 

well as an MBA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She also received post-graduate education in Advertising, Public Relations and Applied Communications at Michigan State University and holds a certificate in Social Media Marketing. Jennifer now resides in “auto country” near Ann Arbor, Michigan and enjoys helping to foster the nation’s growing interest in alternative fuels.
