Mike Rath serves as Senior VP of Commodities for Darling Ingredients and is Chair of Clean Fuels Alliance America. At Darling Ingredients, he is responsible for all finished product sales, risk management, rail transportation and energy procurement. The company operates 66 rendering and used cooking oil plants in the North America, supplying fats and waste oils to the biomass-based diesel market. Previously Rath worked at ADM for 21 years in various roles, dedicated to biodiesel and renewables development in the last few years. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics

Karama Neal, PhD, currently serves as Administrator of the Rural Business-Cooperative Service at USDA Rural Development. Prior to joining USDA, Neal served as president of Southern Bancorp Community Partners, a nonprofit community development loan fund and financial development organization promoting economic mobility in rural Arkansas and Mississippi. Before joining Southern, she had a career in the biosciences and worked for a period in biofuels informatics with a focus on feedstocks and balancing food and fuel priorities. Neal completed her undergraduate degree in genetics from Emory University and a master’s in bioethics and health policy from  Loyola University Chicago. She also completed executive education in impact investing at the University of Oxford Said School of Business.

Scott Lewis currently serves as President of World Energy SupplyZero. Lewis has been in the renewable fuels industry for more than 20 years. His experience centers around building out and managing commercial programs for biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel production facilities. Today, Lewis leads World Energy’s commercial SAF operations, helping to build strategic relationships with suppliers, customers, government officials, and joint venture partners.

Theresa Romanosky serves as General Counsel at the Association of American Railroads. Her responsibilities include regulatory, legal, and policy issues related the environment, hazardous materials, and climate change/resilience, particularly as related to the railroad industry and transportation infrastructure. Founded in 1934, AAR is the world’s leading railroad policy, research, standard setting and technology organization that focuses on the safety and productivity of the U.S. freight rail industry

Anthony Silecchia is VP Acquisitions & Industry Affairs of Star Group, a full-service energy provider specializing in the sale of home heating and air conditioning products and services to residential and commercial customers. Star is the nation’s largest retail distributor of home heating oil, based upon sales volume, operating throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. The company markets Bioheat® fuel.

Merit Von Eitzen serves as Senior Fuel Trader in the U.S. for Maersk Oil Trading. Maersk is the world’s largest commercial buyer of marine fuel, focusing on innovation and setting new industry standards.

Paul Nazzaro is President of The Nazzaro Group and has represented Clean Fuels since 1996 in the capacity of Supply Chain Liaison. He focuses on ensuring the successful commercialization of low carbon liquid fuels nationally. He has developed and implemented countless training and communication programs to advance the growth of these fuels.  He also presides over Advanced Fuel Solutions, a performance additive organization serving terminals, wholesalers and fuel distributors throughout the nation. Nazzaro serves on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association and countless other state Bioheat® fuel industry groups.
