Mike Rath serves as Senior VP of Commodities for Darling Ingredients and is Chair of Clean Fuels Alliance America. At Darling Ingredients, he is responsible for all finished product sales, risk management, rail transportation and energy procurement. The company operates 66 rendering and used cooking oil plants in the North America, supplying fats and waste oils to the biomass-based diesel market. Previously Rath worked at ADM for 21 years in various roles, dedicated to biodiesel and renewables development in the last few years. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics

Gene Gebolys is CEO of World Energy. Since 1996, Gene has played a pioneering and leading role in building today’s $136B global biofuels industry. In 1998, he launched World Energy to drive positive change by accelerating the commercialization of viable alternatives to fossil motor fuels. Paul Nazzaro

Advanced Fuel Solutions

Paul Nazzaro is President of Advanced Fuel Solutions. Prior to founding AFS, Nazzaro became an early adopter of utilizing the latest chemical technologies to enhance fuel quality on behalf of organizations such as Northeast Petroleum. He has also represented the Clean Fuels Alliance America since 1996 as the organization’s petroleum liaison, helping to reduce roadblocks impeding biodiesel’s domestic commercialization. He is considered an architect of the Bioheat® fuel product and market. A Boston resident, Nazzaro serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Energy Marketers Association and the New England Fuel Institute.
