Nate Green joined John Deere in 2025 to promote growth in renewable fuels such as ethanol, biodiesel, renewable diesel and SAF via coalition-building, advocacy and strategic investments. Prior to Deere, he spent 13 years at Chevron Renewable Energy Group, North America’s largest biodiesel producer, with roles as Executive Director, Global Sourcing; Director, Business Development; and Senior Counsel.

Green holds a J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law and an M.A. in political science from Leiden University, where he studied as a Fulbright Fellow. An Iowa native, Green grew up in Fort Dodge, where his family owns a century farm.
