Dr. Ed Carr has over 12 years of experience supporting projects related to air quality, emissions and economic analysis in the mobile, non-road and biogenic sectors. Dr. Carr has worked on air quality, technology assessment and emissions inventory projects for federal, state, NGO and industry clients, including the U.S. EPA Office of Transportation and Air Quality), South Coast Air Quality Management District, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), U.S. Maritime Administration, International Maritime Organisation, REMPEC, Ocean Conservancy and numerous others.  

As a Partner at Energy & Environmental Research Associates, Dr. Carr brings expertise in economic and data analysis, model development, policy and geospatial analysis. He has extensive experience with AIS data and maritime emissions, numerical modeling and simulation, web-based tool development, large data analysis and visualization. 

Dr. Carr received his A.B. in Biology from Bowdoin College, and M.M.P and Ph.D. in Marine Policy from the University of Delaware.
