Seaboard Energy LLC
Seaboard Energy, operates two biodiesel plants with a combined annual capacity of over 75 million gallons. In 2022, Seaboard Energy started producing renewable diesel at their Hugoton, Kansas facility. Seaboard Energy now has total renewable fuel production capacity of 160 million gallons annually. Also, Seaboard Energy started sending unit trains of renewable diesel to their new fuels distribution terminal in Madera, CA in 2022. Seaboard Energy purchased the Madera site in 2021 and converted it to the Seaboard Energy Renewable Fuels Terminal at Madera. Two new 4.2 million gallon tanks and a 4 lane truck rack were added. The Madera Terminal has the capacity to receive 3 million gallon unit trains carrying renewable diesel and biodiesel with a 6-day transit time each way from Kansas. Madera’s 4 lane truck rack is capable of handling 20 million gallons per month of low carbon fuels to supply California’s Central Valley near Fresno.
